Registration now open for 2026 VRA Automotive Summit

Registration has opened for the Vehicle Remarketing Association’s (VRA) 2026 Automotive Summit, expected to attract more than 200 delegates.

Held at The Slate at Warwick University on Wednesday 25 November, it will feature detailed sessions on the economy, the motor industry, the fleet sector and the latest in automotive retail.

Speakers confirmed so far include Chris Ashley, senior policy lead, Road Haulage Association; David Bailey, professor, Birmingham Business School; Gary Burns, procurement and remarketing director, Arval; Paul Hollick, chair, Association of Fleet Professionals; Glynn Jones, agent, Bank of England; automotive industry analyst, Felipe Munoz; and Graeme Potts, CEO, Eden Motor Group.

Support is being provided by event partner Aviloo; session sponsor Jato; and associate sponsors Geldards and Brego.

Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said: “The Summit is now firmly established as one of the highlights of the motor industry calendar and we are aiming to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.

“We’re starting the day by looking at macro events in the global and national economy, followed by an overview of developments in the motor industry, then extensive briefings on fleet and retail remarketing.

“It’s been suggested by past delegates that the Summit manages to squeeze all of the insight of a three-day FT conference into five hours and, as ever, we are aiming to provide the most comprehensive briefing possible within the time available.”

He explained that the format would continue to be enhanced by increasing the use of one-to-one interviews and discussion panels, in addition to traditional presentations.

“Feedback shows the event works better when we mix things up a little and emphasise a conversational approach. There will always be a place for experts standing at the podium to deliver high-quality information, but a more interactive style can create greater understanding and higher audience engagement.”

The Summit is open not just to VRA members but is also free to attend for other motor industry professionals who want to find out more about current thinking and forthcoming developments in the remarketing sector.

Philip said: “Last year, attendance was the largest ever and this year, we’d like to nudge that figure to over 200 delegates. It’s our opportunity to demonstrate the strength in depth of the VRA and how the organisation continues to thrive and expand.

“We must also say thank you to the sponsors so far confirmed, who very much make the Summit possible. Opportunities also remain available for other businesses that would like to become partners in the event.”
