A new appointment has been made to 1link Disposal Network account management team as volumes sold through the platform increased by 60% in Q1 of 2016.
Amy Tew has worked in sales for a wide range of dealerships including Brandish Vauxhall, Johnsons Cars and Peugeot Citroen.
At epyx, her responsibility as sales executive is to work closely with dealers using 1link Disposal Network, developing strategies designed to enable them to dispose of cars through both retail and trade channels as they approach their stocking days limit.
During the year since its formation the 1link Disposal Network account management team has grown to half a dozen staff.
David Goodyear, commercial director, said: “1link Disposal Network is expecting to double it’s volumes year on year and has been identified as one of the key potential growth areas within epyx.
“Major investment is underway and the new account management team is a key element in this strategy. The fleet and motor industries are very much about personal relationships and our account managers will supplement the technology in 1link Disposal Network, helping customers to get the most out of the platform.”
Launched in 2007, 1link Disposal Network is used by major fleets, traders and dealers to manage the buying and selling of stock through a wide variety of channels including online and auctions.
